8 reasons why you’ll enjoy working at SoftwarePlant

Do you want to work for a successful and independent IT company? Are you a team player who likes to collaborate to achieve common goals? Do you want to work in a modern and comfortable office space, using only top-notch equipment? If your answers are ‘yes’, then this could be the beginning of a beautiful collaboration. Here are eight reasons we think you might enjoy working at SoftwarePlant.

1. Our products, our vision, our deadlines

Since 2015 we have been working on a portfolio of our products. More than 3 million users are already using our applications. We listen to their needs and suggestions, but it’s our teams who make the final decisions about the development of our products. We are limited only by our imagination and impose deadlines on ourselves. Thanks to this approach, we don’t have crunches, and we don’t work after hours or on weekends.

2. Flat structure, guilds, and transparency

We don’t like bureaucracy, and we don’t have a complicated structure. We implement new ideas quickly. When working at SoftwarePlant you can join one of our company’s guilds. Guild members meet regularly to share knowledge and discuss ideas for improvements. Their suggestions are put into effect first.

Additionally, all teams share information through our knowledge exchange platform. Every two months, the entire company meets to discuss the most significant changes and plans for the future. These actions keep everyone up to date with what’s going on.

3. Continuous development

We regularly conduct internal workshops where we share our knowledge. We also invite external trainers, and take part in technological events around the world: Las Vegas, San Diego, Paris, Hamburg, Stockholm, Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Glasgow – the list keeps growing!

The cherry on top is our internal hackathons. Every two months, our teams work exclusively on product development according to their ideas! After a week of designing and programming, the best features get released.

4. Comfortable working conditions

We know that everyone likes to work differently. That’s why we designed our new office with different needs in mind. We have both comfortable open spaces and rooms to work in silence. Our office is equipped with the latest equipment to facilitate work and communication between teams. We also have rooms where you can relax, play table football, PS4 or hit a boxer. The heart of our office is a fully stocked kitchen – and we mean fully! Fruits, vegetables, snacks, energy drinks, juices, fresh herbs, lemonade in the summer – it’s all there. Thanks to the fact that we all work in the office, everyone is always just a few steps away. We don’t waste time on setting up team calls. We handle all matters straight away. Our productivity levels are off the charts.

5. Flexible working hours

We make sure that everyone can adjust their day-plan to work efficiently. Are you a morning person? Great, you can start work as early as 8:00 a.m. and finish at 4:00 p.m. Are you a night owl? We got you covered. You can sleep peacefully and come to work as late as 10:00 a.m.

6. Top-notch hardware

You don’t have to worry about buying your equipment. In SoftwarePlant, you get all the necessary tools on the first day of your work: MacBook Pro or Lenovo ThinkPad, two HR monitors, a mouse, and a keyboard. Plus, you get instant access to various applications that support our everyday work: JIRA, Slack, Trello, Figma – to name a few.

7. Teamwork

From day one, you can count on the support of your assigned buddy. Your buddy will fill you in on all the details regarding our projects, and everyday work. Everyone is always here to answer your questions so you don’t have to look for solutions yourself. At SoftwarePlant we play as a team.

8. Mind, body, soul… and events

We also take care of you after work. We offer you private health care and Multisport package. Also, we work hard and play even harder. We make sure that there’s plenty of regular integrations: dinners, drinks, sports, and other cool activities that all co-workers can take part in.
