The more information you can gather, the better. Raw data is not enough. That’s why we focus on better visualization by powering the Reports module. It will present data such as cross-team dependencies, predictability reports, velocity charts, work progress reports, or team availability reports, to name a few. This is just a beginning, as we aim to expand the range of report widgets successively.
The Overview module will also be adapted for greater flexibility by introducing configurable Column Views. You will create a customized Column View by removing unnecessary columns or selecting chosen columns that you can easily switch between. These Views will also be branded by newly implemented metrics, such as required skills or teams working on chosen tasks.
We plan to expand financial monitoring by adding new columns: Budget, Actual cost, and Estimated cost. The latter two can be automatically calculated based on tasks in the scope. Moreover, users can establish actual and estimated costs on the task level. This way, they can define the cost of a single task or deliverable. Also, users will have the possibility to calculate the task estimated or actual costs based on the resource cost.
BigPicture will adjust its focus on Objective Key Results (OKRs). Users will be able to break the objectives into initiatives or key results. The former allows breaking the biggest, most ambitious projects into smaller, more manageable, and transparent elements. The latter will improve the control over the progress with the help of generated, up-to-date charts.
