TomTom designs and develops innovative navigation products, software and services, that power hundreds of millions of applications across the globe. This includes industry-leading location-based and mapmaking technologies, embedded automotive navigation solutions; portable navigation devices and apps, and the most advanced telematics fleet management and connected car services.
Although we are just starting to explore and test BigPicture’s capabilities, we can already see its potential for helping our product and project managers visualize and manage activities, resources and dependencies across multiple globally distributed teams. This intuitive app enhances the JIRA user experience, and we have been pleased to find that SoftwarePlant is eager to understand users’ needs and incorporate customer feedback into their plans for additional BigPicture features.
We recently transitioned a large unit of our organization into JIRA from another system, and we were looking for a project management solution that would enhance core JIRA functionality and support our users in their daily work. After some initial internal testing with the BigPicture trial license, we decided that a full training was needed in order to further our understanding of its capabilities and develop a group of experienced in-house users who could support a full roll-out of the app within the company.
Thanks for organizing a successful BigPicture training on-site at our office. Though there was a lot of material to cover in two days and it sometimes felt difficult to absorb it all, every one of our attendees walked away with a solid understanding of BigPicture’s capabilities and the knowledge needed to begin testing it within our organization. The trainer was very knowledgeable and patient, and really took the time to understand our processes and answer our questions. In the weeks following the training he has also made himself available for follow-up conversations, questions and feedback, so thank you for the continuing support!

We understood that BigPicture was a huge Jira plug-in. To get familiar with the application as soon as possible, we had to have a training session – it was so obvious to us from the beginning. During the two-day training session, we received all the information regarding the application. The training consisted of basic usage and the administration details. Therefore, everyone in our team benefitted. The first day, all the members attended the basics and for the second day a few members participated for the detailed session. Also, the training is flexible. It is possible to adjust training content as suitable for our needs. I think that makes on-site training worth more than video training. Furthermore, we could ask questions any moment throughout the training and discuss the issues. Also, it should be mentioned that the trainer is very fluent in the application. He is a fountain of knowledge, could be the most suitable expression, I think. If someone asks me, certainly, I would recommend on-site training, whenever you are going to use BigPicture.”
