Atlassian in Scotland by New Verve Consulting. What to Expect in Glasgow?

Since the first Jira-related event by New Verve Consulting focused on Project Portfolio Management, it would have been a shame for us to miss it. This was because very few apps for Jira delivered true portfolio-level capabilities and BigPicture was one of them. How was it in Glasgow on the 19th of March, 2019? Will we participate in Atlassian in Scotland 2020?

What was the event all about?

Agile, governance and PMO cooperation panel discussion

Feico Mol (Atlassian), Philippa Christie (Equator), Sorcha Lorimer (Trace) and Tony Christensen (RBS) discuss on “How can Agile, governance, and the PMO work together?”

Atlassian in Scotland 2019 was all about Project Portfolio Management. The host broke this motto down into several key phrases:

  • the big picture
  • cross-team roadmaps
  • managing resources, dependencies, and risks
  • forecasting accurate completion dates
  • keeping team members in the loop with best-in-class reporting
  • controlling costs and revenues for your portfolios
